Project
The Dyno Computer starts with a main board. The main board may be a passive backplane to provide the foundation to a collection of expansion cards that forms the computer. Or, the main board may be a motherboard that is, itself, the computer but has expansion slots to allow for including additional functionality.

Expansion slots, based on the Dyno•Bus specification, allows additional functionality to be included to the motherboard, or in the case of the backplane, are modular components for construction the computer.

Although not used directly by the Dyno Computer, miscellaneous boards are used to assist with the design and creation of the various Dyno Computer components.
